Is Las Vegas Haunted By Yesterday’s Superstars?

I’m very, very old, and some may believe ready for a session with Dr. Alzheimer. However, on visits to Sin City, I want to believe I see or hear entertainers of the past. And for free.

A great location for the ghostly experiences is on the Vegas Strip sidewalk next to the Fountains of Bellagio. They’re 1,200 water spouts in Lake Bellagio in front of the resort. They send streams soaring as high as 460 feet into the Vegas sky. Current sound examples of what walkers hear include Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” Faith Hill’s “This Kiss” and Elton John’s “Your Song.”

However, my fave is Sinatra singing “Luck Be A Lady”. As I stroll along at night by the fountains, his great classic song croons out of dozens of hidden speakers. Then I know I don’t walk alone.
