A rare Jackson Pollock work, named #32, is scheduled to go on auction sale by Sotheby’s on May 16 in New York. His compositions were created by dripping and splashing random paints on blank canvas. That one is expected to be purchased by a wealthy buyer for from $30 million to $60 million.
Note: Displayed here is not a Jackson Pollock masterpiece. It’s just my camera close-up of a random paint-splattered telephone pole near my home. Hey, Sotheby’s! I could be persuaded to let it go for a mere million or so.
