News Ads Say Cigarette Companies Deliberately Addict Kids

Gee, who’d have thunk it? Recent newspaper and TV warnings condemn the most familiar makers, including Lorillard, Philip Morris and Reynolds. The nicotine peddlers blandly emphasize continuing enhancement and flavoring of nicotine to keep the young addicts’ brains captive as they smoke away their shortened lives.

Let’s get real! Of course, all addiction peddlers, including makers of booze and other drugs, capture vulnerable kids and keep them buying the poison until it kills them. What the warnings don’t emphasize enough is that while the smokers are on their way to early graves, they’re taking innocent people, including their own choking kids, with them.
