I’ve passed this scene on Santa Monica Boulevard for at least six years on my daily hikes, and it has changed very little. I often wonder if they’re building it one brick and stick at a time. Looks like it will become a high-rise hotel with indoor parking. Maybe some day.
Will it take them as long as it required to build, Noah’s Ark, the Tower of Babel and the Great Wall of China? Considering the ongoing construction is in Hollywood, remember the Charlton Heston movie, The Ten Commandments? His Hebrew slaves built the Great Pyramid of Egypt much more quickly, and they weren’t even unionized.
