Human Tragedy Or Photographic Work Of Art?

Actually, in my non-humble opinion, it’s both. On daily wanderings around the city, this old grad of the Philadelphia Museum College of Art (BFA ’51) sees too-frequent sights of homeless people passing by my camera lens. However, I caught this tragic moment, and believe the artistic result is as effective as a dramatic painting by Toulouse-Lautrec, Cezanne, Monet, Renoir or Degas.

It’s both art and tragedy, Ted. I note that she has her own foldable cart, and not one “borrowed” from a supermarket. Also, judging from the canister, she may have a pulmonary problem. And please include Daumier among your artists.
