With growing news of more women running for office, including Hillary’s almost presidential win, others of various sexual preferences are now leaping into politics. Oregon’s Kate Brown is the first openly bisexual governor. Democrats have now nominated two gay governor candidates, Lupe Valdez of Texas and Jared Polis of Colorado. If it all had happened at the beginning, would school kids today call her the Mother of our Country?
