Two stars of Hollywood’s Golden Years of the 1940s, Kirk Douglas (Spartacus) and Olivia DeHaviland (Gone With The Wind), just arrived at that admirable age. They make this 93-year-old feel young again!
When Olivia and Kirk were born in December 1916, it was the time of World War 1, a new Ford Model T cost $600 and a new four-bedroom house near NYC’s Central Park cost $8,000. In recent news, another 102-year-old, an Aussie woman just set a record as the oldest person ever to sky dive. Hmmm, at that advanced age and so close to heaven, should she have just opted to stay up there and wing it?
