Old Guy’s Top Christmas Movies Of All Time

Hollywood keeps making new and recycled holiday features, primarily to earn heavy bucks at this time of year. Some are ok, some bad copies and others just bad. In my ancient memory, the best were made in a relatively short time in history, the 40s and early 50s.

Here are my favorites from when I was young and Hollywood produced some enjoyable originality. Meet Me In St. Louis (1944), It’s A Wonderful Life (1946), Miracle On 34th Street (1947), A Christmas Carol (1951) and White Christmas (1954). Get the DVDs or enjoy them free online.
