With the unending government shutdown, thousands of government employees who live paycheck to paycheck are having money problems. Though a certain billionaire in the White House hasn’t offered any help, others have pitched in to ease the problem.
For instance, in Washington DC, starting today Kraft Now Pay Later is open at 1287 4th Street NE, near the city’s Union Market. Through Sunday, January 20, government workers with proper ID can fill a bag with Kraft Heinz products while supplies last.
It’s all free, but Kraft requests, once the shutdown ends, workers to donate an equal amount to a charity of choice. For more details on offers to federal workers, go to http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2019/01/10/government-shutdown-freebies-deals-and-help-furloughed-workers
