Stand Up Comedy Today Is More Like Sit Down Toilet

Went to a comedy club the other night for the first time in years. This former U.S. Navy guy, who has heard dirty words before, was shocked at the language. In my mind, the filth had nothing to do with creative humor.

The obscene routine sounded more like snickering 10-year-old boys trying out dirty words in the school toilet. Now blaring in your face via TV, movies, online and newspapers, the formerly censored words fill and soil the air.

Is that so-called entertainment freedom of expression or descent into outhouse depths with all the other unwanted waste? Therefore, to all toilet-mouthed actors, singers and comedians: ƒ®∑I§√∆ you!
