Do you question those ads on TV offering all education, from kindergarten thru high school, to happen only at home? While the idea appears attractive and modern at first glance, what about the normal human need, especially during childhood, to interact with others?
Will those kids who spend every day with eyes glued to family TV screens ever experience real life? How about challenging mental and physical competition, social skills, exchange of ideas and all the other negative and positive daily experiences?
Those of us now in our advanced years may have both good and bad memories of our school days in classrooms and playing fields. However, we realized then as we grew up that it all prepared us for the realities of adult human interaction.
