Taxpayer lament: OK, let them drive their big cars and live in huge mansions. They take home multi-millions for playing schoolyard games or to squawk into microphones. Of course, they pay heavy taxes for those big buck paychecks, but there should be some sense of responsibility to go with the insanely high incomes.
Also the newly-graduated college jock who gets $100 million to sign on to play a few months of football, baseball or basketball. And those young singers who went from welfare to wealth, and now with almost unlimited cash. Shouldn’t they, voluntarily or by fair taxation, use some of those millions to help the homeless get off city streets and into homes?
